Students and energy healing clients always ask me how to do it. Just as often, they tend to be quite surprised when I tell them. It turns out that learning how to raise your vibration looks a lot like how you’d pursue a healthy, clean life with adequate self-care in your daily routine. Why is it important to learn how to raise your vibration?
Higher vibrations are lighter, facilitate clearer communication with the higher self and the spiritual realm (universal energy), allow you to be more open to intuitive and psychic information, are associated with positive energy and positive outcomes, and promote healing and well-being. Low vibrations are consistent with dense energy and can manifest in imbalance and disease at the physical level.
33 Ways to raise your vibration:
There are many more than 33 ways to affect your vibrational energy, but this is a good place to start learning how to raise your vibration.
- Drink lots of water. Plain warm water is best, although, it can be lightly naturally flavored. Drinking water detoxes and clears.
- Be around water — shower, bathe, take a sauna, or go to the ocean, river, pond.
- Practice deep breathing. Take long deep regular breaths: 4 to 6 seconds for each inhale and exhale. Practice for as long as you feel comfortable. Do this for a few minutes at different times of the day if you like.
- Meditate. Find a practice that suits you and your needs. If you don’t have the time or patience, consider shorter sessions.
- Engage in physical activity that you really enjoy. Move your body! (If you don’t like doing it, lounging around is bound to produce negative health effects.)
- Make time for enjoyment.
- Be positive. This works best if you’re honest with yourself. In other words, it’s better to choose a small positive truth, than a big wishful lie. Trite affirmations aren’t effective.
- Laugh, joke, and smile… authentically.
- Maintain a healthy, balanced diet. Eat regularly and without being rushed. Avoid processed food.
- Get sufficient sleep.
- Be mindful.
- Spend time in nature. Take in the fresh air and natural light (sun and moonlight).
- Sit under a tree. Communicate with the tree. This creates a connection and is grounding.
- Smell good smells (e.g., flowers, natural aromatics, etc). Artificial scents don’t count.
- Go barefoot and create a connection to mother earth. It’s grounding and supportive. RELATED: 20 Signs Your ‘Vibrations’ Are Rising & You’re Becoming A Better, More Spiritual Version Of Yourself
